Easy Chicken Recipe

Here is a chicken recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing...imagine that!

When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out.. Give this a try.

1 chicken
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing
1 cup uncooked popcorn
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Brush chicken well with melted butter salt and pepper
Fill cavity with stuffing mixed with popcorn.

Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.

Listen for the popping sounds.

When the chicken's arse blows the oven door open and the chicken flies across the room and lands on the table, it's done and ready to eat!

And you thought I couldn't cook ...

    Have a nice day Sandee!!

  3. My 1st thought:
A recipe? What the frack...I want some comedy.
    2nd thought:
Okay, it must be one frickin' good chicken recipe...so give the dag on chicken recipe a read.
Popcorn in chicken? Huh? Won't it get soggy?
Blowing chicken arse...lol. That's what I was looking for. =D

  4. Hahaha! I can just see the chicken popping out of the oven. Too funny :)

  5. I just knew the popcorn might be a mistake. Next time I want a picture of this going on. I want to see the chicken fly through the air. Too funny.Have a good one.

  6. Ha! I want video. Just saying!

    Big hugs xoxo

  7. Ah...you sucker punched me with this one. Made me laugh, although I don't think I'll be eating at your house any time soon.

  8. Haha, yeah, I thought this was going to be a real recipe too. Oh well, you fooled me!

  9. I use this method for making the turkey for Thanksgiving. I thought it was an old secret family recipe. Hmmm.. are we related?

    Have a great day!

  10. between reading the recipie and the comments my sides are hurtin, thanks for starting my day off with a BANG!

  11. What barb said! :). I can imagine this one.

  13. I think I'll have to give it a try!

  14. I am a big chicken fan and love roast chicken so if I ever doubt when it is cooked I know what to look for now!:) I hope your day has been going great Sandee!

  15. For a split second I thought I had finally found a recipe that even I couldn't fail with.

  16. I wonder if you used buttered popcorn rather than the plain if you could eliminate the melted butter on the outside

  17. oookay then... I may be to scared to eat it tho. I also think the temps would need to be a tad higher to pop the corn, but then you would have blackened turkey!

  18. well then, what time is dinner! ha ha

    smiles, bee

  19. Could we make that chocolate popcorn?

  20. I think we will give it try - but only if you are sure it will land on the plates so I don't have to carve it :)

  21. Like Stevebethere I thought it was serious too at 1st. I totally cracked up & Michelle gave me the strangest look. I read it to her & she laughed too. I can hardly see to type this comment as my eyes are too watery from laughing. I'm not sure about Da Dude's idea of using it the popcorn stuffing for Turkey. Would insurance companies cover the damage to your walls after the turkey blows straight through them & lands outside on the road.

  22. Ii makes me feel so hungry right now :(

  23. Uauu! chicken recipe is beautifull
