Rhonda of Laugh Quotes has started a meme called Silly Sunday. Go HERE for the simple rules. An Englishman, a Scott, and a Irishman walked into a pub. Each ordered a pint of beer. Then a fly landed in each one's beer.
The Englishman, turning slightly green, pushed his beer away and asked for another one.
The Scott took the fly out, shrugged, and drank his beer.
The Irishman pinched the fly between his fingers and yelled "SPIT IT OUT! "SPIT IT OUT!"

I'm of Irish descent & think I'd react the same. Those flies can drink more than you can imagine. This one earns a super sized BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Do NOT come between and Irishman and his pint!

Not surprised by the Irishman :) I think a Czech would do the same. Happy Halloween, Sandee!
lol almost St Pats?...lol Have an awesome Sunday my friend~! :-)
That's true in so many ways. Thanks for the laugh
Worms in tequila bottles don't slow me down so I don't think a fly would slow me down in my beer. Thanks for providing me with a good Sunday morning chuckle.
Happy Halloween Hop, Sandee - good to *meet* you ;) I was hoping for a Halloween joke!
Eck. Obviously I'm not an Irish man.

Haha! now that was funny :-)
Have a great week :-)
Funny how that joke evolved over the years---I heard if from my dad some 50 years ago and it was the Scotsman who caught the flack.
Hello fellow hopper!
So glad I was able to visit your site! :) I am visiting from the Coffin Hop--I am # 63-- and happy to take part in this hop also. This Halloween I will be dressing as a swashbuckling pirate. Two of my favorite scary books are The Witching Hour and Let the Right One In. A fave movie is Bram Stoker's Dracula. I love this time of year--we get to indulge in a bit of darkness. Please hop over and visit me if you like at www.penelopecrowe.blogspot.com where I am giving coupons to your choice of my books and you can enter and win a NOOK! Thanks and hope to see you there!
Penelope

My favorite scary book is IT (scared the crap out of me when I was a kid), movie that horrified me most was Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween, and I did not dress up this year, because I'm lame. Maybe next year ;-)
