We are still on the boat and will return home tomorrow. We avoid being home during Halloween as there are hundreds upon hundreds of kids that are bussed into our neighborhood. We contributed for many years and now we just enjoy a quiet evening on our boat. Hubby and I are going out for dinner tonight and that's a mighty nice treat for me. So what are you doing for Halloween?

I know this will come as a complete shock to you, but will be going to bed early.
Enjoy your evening out together! Big hugs xoxo
We are handing out KitKats to our few trick-or-treaters as soon as I get home from work.
Happy Halloween Sandee! Hope you'll have an enjoyable evening with you loved one. Over here.. we do not celebrate halloween... and if we did.. it would be quite a rainy one. Its been raining for days :)
Sounds like you will be having a nice quiet Halloween.
Although we have trick or treaters It's not such a big thing here although It's getting to be.
Have a lovely evening :-)
We're going to be helping with Fall Fest at our church. So, it won't be as quiet. But it will be fun. Weather is supposed to be perfect tonight.
Ha! I feel the same way. I have contributed to a lot of Halloween fun over the years, but after the kids were grown there did come a time that I preferred just going out that night. Now we live in a quiet, out of the way neighborhood with just a few kids. Maybe we'll have some candy. Maybe we'll watch TV with the lights out.
:-)
Bill just left for work and I'll be heading out later today. Gotta get some candy for the kids and make a special bag for the kid upstairs.
Woof! Woof! Happy Halloween. Have a FUN Howl-o-ween Dinner! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Happy Halloween to you. It's not a big thing here. We had only one kid stop by.
Happy Halloween! We turn off the lights and pretend that we are not home. Bwahahahahaha!
I am going to experience my first Halloween today with my grandkid around!
Happy Halloween!
We are all staying home and that means cats, dogs, donkeys and a goat. We are very lucky that we don't get tricksters. Watch, just cause I said that, we will get some of the monsters. Have a great dinner out.
Take care.
We're going to hide out also. We just need a rest from our vacation. LOL.
It looks like we are going to be Beverly Hillbillies next year. We are pretty sure we will be moving to Beverly Hills Florida sometime next year. Not to far from the Gulf of Mexico.
Have a great Halloween!
We were one of the first to move into our neighborhood and because of the housing crash it's taken the builder a long time to finish the houses around us. Finally, last year we got one kid coming by. We poured our entire bowl of candy into his bag.
Actually it's quiet. No tricksters or anything. I guess I'm old enough that I still see it as a kids holiday.
Have an enjoyable time on the boat Sandee. Here in Jamaica there are a few Halloween parties but they are not in my area, usually in the town areas. These are held at hotels etc. Take care.
Enjoy your quiet halloween Sandee!! I'm staying home with the husband because there is no work :) yipee!!
Not much going on at my house. when we lived in a small town when the boys were little we got hoards of kids too. but we had fun with our kids & seeing the locals... the bused in ones were not as much appreciated, but at least it was a safer local for them. we get none out here in the sticks, so I kinda miss at least seeing the little ones. Have a happy Halloween on the boat.
Apparently, we now live in a area with tons of trick or treaters - I'm curious to see how it all plays out.
We don't have many kids stop by our house. I'm the crotchety old man of the neighborhood. More candy for me! Someday it might make me a real sweet guy.
Happy Halloween!
same thing here, they come in car loads. I'm turning off the lights and avoiding the whole thing tonight.
Enjoy your night out
I'm way out in the sticks this year, but taking no chances---lights out, since I have no candy!
Sitting at home, reading blogs, watching Twilight, and opening the door for trick-or-treaters. I'm so good at multi-tasking.

Your neighborhood must be good candy givers if kids are bused in!
I worked Halloween night while my wife took our son out for his last Trick-Or-Treat celebration. They all brought me candy back and I didn't even have to knock on any doors or get sore feet. Yay! :)
I'm like a big kid, so we walked around our neighborhood and checked out the little goblins. However, time on a boat would be a great option! Glad to hear you had a "Happy Halloween"!
