We live the simple life. Just getting together with family and friends at a picnic or barbecue.

We did a lot of it this Summer.

We just had winter. We took a one week break to the tropics. It was like summer and it was awesome :)

4th of July up at my sister's house in Maine. Sitting around the fire pit at night, making s'mores and toasting marshmallows. She sold the house a few years ago. Dang it. But we have fun together wherever we are!

Big hugs from "still not fall weather Massachusetts but I'm having a blast anyways"! xoxo

We are five brothers and togetherness is a rarity as each one is busy with their jobs and personal life. Last summer we had a get together for about a week. The experience was memorable and unique!
Have a great day!

Actually, after the summer we had, the favorite activity I had was watching it rain. That one day in June that it rained.

Swimming in crystal clear water in Corolla NC and having hundreds of cow nose rays approach. Scary but amazing!

All our friends joining us at the lake when the kids were small. Lots of food, fun, water sports, and sunshine. Still brings a smile to my face. Love the water!

Big hugs, honey...

My best summer expereince would have been enjoying the sun at Hampstead Heath with my girl. Just lazzing around with a few goodies to eat and drink...perfect day.

I guess it was technically still Spring...but being the Maid on Honor in my best friend's wedding. It was absolutely amazing to be part of that special day for her-especially after all she's done for me over the years.

And well, of course being proposed to two days later.

Oh, this is a tough one...I've been blessed with many... But, my my absolute favorite summer experience is the first time I brought my son to the beach. He was about eighteen months old.

Sandee, You should have seen him-

For the first few moments he stood as still as a stone, then he shot in the air like a Jack in the Box, ran to the edge of the water, and began to dance in the foamy tide. I will never forget it.

Thank you for reminding me.

Big hug~

Ann
