Happy Manic Monday!
Having sat in pews just like those in southern churches hour after hour as a child, I can tell you that although the ending is hilarious, all the little nuances in the middle that Southern preachers make - and he had them downpat - is just as funny. Repeating things, the drama, the angst, the mannerisms...this guy is really talented and funny. It would take our preacher an hour to pose the premise of the sermon. By then we were too hungry and tired and sleepy to care about the answer.
And I so want to say "NIP IT" now.
So I will.
Nip it in the bud.
I feel better.
Am I going to hell?

I just love Southern Preachers! Lots of my friends talk just like this guy.
I grew up in a Catholic church outside of Boston. You can imagine the culture shock for me when I moved to the deep south!!
